Guest Reviews & Ratings
I felt like I would never get any peace with dust everywhere in the hotel, even in a superior king room. However, the central location within walking distance to many attractions and helpful staff were highlights. The dining experience was good with a variety of food options worth the price.
The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Toronto, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms are beautifully designed with a mix of modern and old-world charm. However, the lack of natural light and carpeted floors may affect the overall cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. The dining options could use more variety as the menu seemed repetitive during my stay.
The hotel offers wonderful rooms that are quiet, roomy, comfortable, and clean; however, there is no bathtub. The service is exceptional with convenient amenities like room service, dry cleaning, laundry, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance. The location is superb, easy to reach many sights and restaurants, walkable to CN Tower and St Lawrence Market, and within walking distance of great shopping and dining. The dining experience, while lovely, may be expensive. Overall, a very comfortable city hotel with some room for improvement in dining.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I stayed in was fabulous, a corner room with an enormous bed and a brilliant double shower in the ensuite bathroom, although it lacked natural light and had a view of a brick wall. The rooms could benefit from some updating.
The hotel's location is unbeatable, perfect for exploring downtown Toronto, but there were some noise issues in the rooms. The service was top-notch with convenient amenities. The dining options were good but could be more diverse. Overall, a great choice for business or leisure trips.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable but had tiny windows overlooking a disappointing back alley. The service was good overall, but there were some issues with noise resembling an engine room. The location was very convenient for exploring downtown Toronto, but the room layout with a bed at one end and a small TV at the other was a bit odd.
The hotel was quite good overall. The rooms were comfortable and nicely updated, although the bathroom was extremely tiny and had a broken fridge causing a smell. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the financial district and public transportation, but more lighting around the Spa area would be welcome. The dining experience offered a decent selection, but some dishes lacked flavor. The staff provided good service, and the hotel had lovely home-made desserts.
The hotel is an excellent base for exploring downtown, being close to major attractions and convenient transportation. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, ideal for English travelers. The service offered includes room service, dry cleaning, laundry, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance. The location is a key selling point for this hotel, with easy access to various areas and attractions. The dining options are varied, from in-room dining to light snacks, ensuring a comfortable experience. The facilities are top-notch, catering to different traveler needs.
The hotel was ready for us even though we arrived early, but the room was terribly dusty. On the bright side, the room we had was beautifully appointed, large, and very clean, ideal for a double queen room with a living room.
I found the hotel to be an excellent choice due to its spacious rooms and convenient amenities. While the dining experience left something to be desired, the service and location were top-notch, making for an overall delightful stay.
